Erana’s garden is the place that most deeply marked my fantasy imagination. In the oppressive atmosphere of the world of Mordavia from the game Quest for Glory 4 - Shadow of Darkness, this place was a haven of peace.

To the 11-year-old boy I was at the time, this place was extraordinary. I often went there, especially to listen to the music and catch the fruits that only the magician could obtain.

Throughout the game, we never meet Erana, and I often wondered what kind of character she was, greatly stimulating my imagination.

When I started writing my novel, the second draft took place in this garden. Given this memory, it is essential to me that this place be a core part of my novel.

And as you may have noticed, the names Elara and Erana are very similar. This is intentional.
